These are my first dance shoes. I looked at everyone's feet as well as online for months before making decision. I take an 8 1/2 or 9. 8 1/2 worked best and even at that they are a bit roomy in the width, but I am glad they are not too tight! Perfect in the length. Love how they fit and feel, but satin fabric is all frayed and broken wherever there is stitching! They are not used but look like they have been. Returning them and hopefully will get another of the same that are not 'seconds'.
