the heel height is perfect for practice dancing, I've gotten lots of compliments on the look of these dance shoes, But,they are NOT as comfortable as I had hoped. they are bit short, and my toe touches the end of the shoe which hurts after a while. I don't plan on ordering from this company again. I had to return another pair and they charge you a $15.00 restocking fee. which I think is a "rip off" to the customers.

New to dance and wanted a closed toe shoe that wasn't a pump nor too dressy so my partner wouldn't kill my toes (he's new to dance too!). The mesh is really different looking. I typically wear an 8.5W (Clarks) and ordered up to a 9. Snug now, but I'm sure they'll break in after a short time. I'll definitely reorder when these are done.

I have owned this style before but my feet seemed to have grown out of them so I ordered them a half size bigger and they were perfect. The shape of the front of this shoe is a little wider than the normal medium but not too wide. My toes appreciated it. As a very active senior, I dance often and a variety of dances including salsa, swing, ballroom, and country. Heading for a cruise out of Seattle shipping the shoes to me in New York would have taken too long. So I contacted customer service and they suggested shipping the shoes to my Seattle hotel. My new dance shoes arrived there the day before I did. Thank you for the great idea.

I have been very pleased with the practice shoes I bought. They are light-weight, comfortable and feel sturdy on my feet. The netting allows air in and keeps my feet cool.

Nicely padded insoles & good quality suede on the soles make them both durable and comfortable.
